CAVU, a veteran-owned company, is honored to stand alongside EQUI-VETS in their mission to provide healing and support to armed service members wounded in the line of duty. The EQUI-VETS program, an affiliate of EQUI-KIDS, offers therapeutic horseback riding and horse care activities to active duty and retired veterans at no cost, aiming to assist in physical and mental healing through equine activities.
In the Virginia Beach/Hampton Roads area, home to a large military population, the need for such programs is significant, with many veterans facing challenges like PTSD and traumatic brain injury. EQUI-VETS' impactful work, supported by dedicated volunteers and military personnel, is making a profound difference in the lives of our nation's heroes.
This past weekend, CAVU was a sponsor in their Annual Horse Show. To learn more about EQUI-VETS, head to https://www.equikids.org/our-programs/equi-vets/
