In our latest episode of the Scar Tissue podcast, Wes Spence interviews Sean Poynter in Punta de Mita, Mexico. Originally from Cincinnati, Sean's family made the move to Florida when he was 10 years old and soon after he picked up surfing. By age 14, he was sponsored by Volcom and traveled internationally as a pro/am surfer with the company. In 2010 he made the transition to Stand-Up Paddling at the professional level.
Listen as he talks about his life, lessons learned, and how a boy from Ohio ended up becoming a World SUP Surfing Champion.
