Our company was founded five years ago today with little more than an inspiration, a couple conversations and a group of people working together. We were consumed with the idea of starting a company that could raise the bar on management integrity, industrial safety and operational performance around the world. We needed a name that would capture all of that and still fit on a business card. My wife Pamela recalled a conversation with former President George H. W. Bush, where he described the personal meaning of the acronym CAVU, Ceiling And Visibility Unlimited, and how it guided his life. It was the perfect name for a company striving to define a deliberate process to produce repeatable perfect days. CAVU International was born. We sat down that afternoon, started building a website for the team and the rest, as they say, is history!
