CAVU Signs Multi-Year Contract with Shell to SupportAssist & Assure Leadership Coaching

CAVU, The RelyOn Leadership Academy, has signed a multi-year contract with Shell to provide leadership and coaching support within its Assist & Assure (A&A) program.

Assist & Assure is a key part of how Shell plans and executes work in the Wells space, helping leaders and teams prepare effectively, communicate clearly, and create the conditions for safe, consistent operations. CAVU’s role is to help strengthen the leadership and coaching dimension of that work, supporting the way leaders show up with their teams on location and in the office.

A Shared Focus on Safety and Leadership

Shell’s commitment to ensuring everyone returns home safe aligns closely with CAVU’s mission to help organizations build leaders and cultures that enable people to perform at their best in high-risk environments. Through this collaboration, CAVU will support Shell by:

·      Providing leadership and coaching support aligned with the A&A framework

·      Helping leaders translate expectations into clear, practical behaviors in the field

·      Encouraging constructive conversations about planning, risk, and learning

·      Reinforcing habits that support safe, reliable, and disciplined operations

Coaching in Support of Operational Excellence

CAVU brings a proven track record from aviation, energy, and other high-reliability industries, applying coaching and human performance principles to help organizations achieve safe, predictable operations.

In the context of A&A, our coaches will focus on:

·      Observing and supporting leaders as they prepare and execute work

·      Providing actionable feedback on communication, teamwork, and decision-making

·      Helping leaders build stronger relationships and create space for people to speak up

·      Encouraging learning from day-to-day work, not just from incidents

The emphasis is on practical, real-world coaching that fits within Shell’s existing ways of working and supports the behaviors that underpin safety and performance.
