

Wow — ten years.
It’s hard to believe how far we’ve come since those early days. Back in 2015, 4 people came together with a big idea: to build a company grounded in values that would never be compromised. We believed that if we surrounded ourselves with good people who shared those same values, there’d be no limit to what we could achieve.
What started as CAVU International — a small team of coaches with a shared mission — has grown into CAVU, The RelyOn Leadership Academy, a global organization serving clients in oil and gas, manufacturing, law enforcement, renewable energy, and a wide range of other high-risk industries committed to safety, leadership, and performance excellence.
Along the way, we became part of the RelyOn family, expanding our reach, our resources, and our ability to help more organizations build safer operations and stronger leaders around the world. That partnership has allowed us to scale what we do best: developing leaders who care deeply about their people and creating cultures where learning and improvement are part of everyday work.
This week, our entire CAVU team came together in Virginia Beach for our annual training — a chance to step out of the field, reflect on the past year, and align on where we’re headed next. For the first time, we were joined in person by members of the PetroSkills team, reinforcing just how far this partnership has come and how much opportunity there is to grow together. The group photo from that week captures more than a milestone; it captures the people and relationships behind our first decade.
One of the things we’re most proud of is how we’ve continued to evolve and innovate. Over the past decade, we’ve developed two major programs that are transforming how organizations approach leadership and human performance.
Together, these programs are creating lasting change: helping leaders think differently, act intentionally, and build cultures that learn and improve every day.
Through all of it, one thing has never changed: the people.
It’s the incredible coaches, staff, and clients who’ve made CAVU what it is. People who believe that leadership matters. That culture can be changed. And that caring deeply about people is the foundation for performance.
To everyone who has been part of this journey — our team members, our partners, and our clients around the world — thank you. Your belief in our mission, your hard work, and your partnership have made this company’s first 10 years possible.
It’s amazing to look back at all we’ve accomplished. But in many ways, it feels like we’re just getting started.
