In late February 2024, ExxonMobil Cepu Limited (EMCL) embarked on an exciting journey with the launch of their Banyu Urip Infill Clastic (BUIC) Drilling campaign. To ensure a successful start to this important initiative, EMCL organized a two-day Perfect Start Workshop, bringing together key personnel from EMCL, the drilling contractor Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia (PDSI) and the service partners.
The workshop, facilitated by experienced CAVU coaches, served as a vital platform to set clear expectations for the upcoming campaign while emphasizing the paramount importance of safety in all operations. EMCL provided insights into their comprehensive suite of safety tools, including Start Work Checks, triggers, and hold points, with guidance from CAVU experts on how to effectively implement these measures in the field.
With safety as the cornerstone of the workshop discussions, participants gained a deep understanding of how to proactively manage risks and maintain safety standards throughout the drilling process.
